NEW ALBUM 'SOLID GROUND' WILL BE RELEASED AUGUST 11!!

We're very pleased to announce that our new, fourth studio album ‘Solid Ground' will be released in New Zealand (Rhythm Method) and Europe (Sonar Kollektiv) from August 11, 2008!!

The 13-track album has once again been recorded with Dr Lee Prebble at The Surgery studio in Wellington and produced by Mike Fabulous.

The first single Slingshot has just been released to New Zealand and European radio and will be available for digital download in July.

The video for Slingshot is currently being produced by Wellington company Mofresh and is due for release on July 7th.

We expect to announce Australian and U.S album release and tour details in the near future!

'Solid Ground' will be released in New Zealand, the UK and Japan this Monday 11 August!. The album will also be available through all digital outlets, including itunes.

THE BLACK SEEDS CANCEL REMAINING UK TOUR DATES

We deeply regret to announce that, due to personal circumstances, The Black Seeds have been forced to cancel the remaining shows of the ‘Solid Ground’ UK Tour in early August.
 
The band has been forced to make this decision due to the illness of one of the band’s family members. This is the first time we have had to cancel shows in our ten year history and this decision has not been made lightly. We sincerely regret and apologise for any inconvenience this has caused and hope that you can understand.
 
We hope to announce a new date for an Edinburgh show in the next few days. All tickets purchased for the August show will be valid for this new date.
 
Alternatively, if you wish to receive a refund for Brighton, dublin or Edinburgh shows, please return your tickets to the place of purchase.
